The ORCASUB was conceived to integrate the robust industry-proven technology, and Lloyd’s approved components, used in Nuytco’s successful DeepWorker line of submersibles with the innovative flight capabilities pioneered in Aviator.
Production of ORCASUBS will take place in Vancouver, Canada in partnership with Nuytco Research Ltd: www.nuytco.com. Sub Aviator Systems’ alliance with Nuytco came into being as result of the close relationship the companies developed working together to upgrade Aviator with advanced capabilities, including major developments to sonar, life support, communications, electrical and self-rescue systems.
Completion price (well equipped): $2,190,000.00 U.S.
Three hulls available for production purchase in 2010.
